I am proud to come from a long line of working-class family who have been a model of diligence and an inspiration to my work. I am interested in making art that is accessible and relatable to those who don’t often get the chance to engage with it. I use various media, from kitchen equipment and drills to coloured pencils and mylar, to make sculptures, drawings, and animations honouring the proletariat.
The use of these unconventional materials comes from a desire to place the things people make every day, such as roads, spreadsheets, houses, lesson plans, or car parts on the same level of cultural significance as capital “A” Art.
