I am proud to come from a long line of working-class family who have been a model of diligence and an inspiration to my work. I am interested in making art that is accessible and relatable to those who don’t often get the chance to engage with it. I use a variety of media, from kitchen equipment and drills to coloured pencils and mylar, to make sculptures, drawings, and animations which honour the proletariat.

The use of these unconventional materials come from a desire to place the things people make everyday, such as roads, or spreadsheets, or houses, or lesson plans, or car parts on the same level of cultural significance as capital “A” Art.
